The Osteria IL Centro family would like to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Kansas City Firefighters John Mesh and Larry Leggio, whose lives were taken in a call to a fire on Monday, October 12, 2015.
In response to this tragedy, for one day only – Oct. 17 – Osteria IL Centro and its sister restaurants, Minsky's Pizza, eggtc. and Night and Day Gourmet will donate 10 percent of sales to the Dining for Heroes Fund, a support account dedicated to the families of John Mesh and Larry Leggio.
This donation will include all dine-in, carry out, delivery and online orders (where applicable).

Further, in addition to the ten percent of sales, diners will have the opportunity to contribute additional funds at each participating restaurant through donation jars. All funds raised will go to the Dining for Heroes Fund through the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association.
Individuals may also make donations directly to the Dining for Heroes Fund by mailing a check or money order to “The Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association” with a memo or notation of Dining for Heroes by no later than Friday, Oct. 16:
