For the 25th year in a row, Wine Spectator Magazine recognizes Osteria IL Centro's wine collection!
Wine Spectator Magazine initiated its restaurant wine recognition program in the early '80's in an effort to elevate wine selections and services at dining destinations all over the world and to acknowledge those restaurants who raised the bar of wine excellence. Worldwide, Wine Spectator has recognized just over 3,000 restaurants for their wine selections and, in 2022, Osteria IL Centro is honored to be on that list for the 25th consecutive year – with Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" recognition.
So, what does it take to earn a “Best of Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator? To earn this upper tier recognition, a restaurant’s wine list must feature a broad collection of interesting wine selections that appropriately match the restaurant cuisine and, also appeals to a wide range of wine enthusiasts. For Osteria IL Centro this criteria was met thanks to a Reserve List featuring over 1,200 selections (and an inventory of over 9,000 bottles total), with notable strengths in the wine regions of California, Italy, and Tuscany.
