Sculptor Barry Eisenhart unveiled his recent bronze creation “Bacchus” Sunday, March 9, at a private reception at Osteria IL Centro. Inspired in part by the Roman god of wine, Mr. Eisenhart’s version also was influenced by a neolithic stone ax he found along the Rhine River both revealing inner selves via a bored hole through center. The statue, commissioned especially for IL Centro, will stand among wine loving patrons daily at center bar, sure to inspire comment and conversation.
