Due to a tragic explosion and fire, long-time plaza favorite JJ's restaurant is no longer able to open its doors.
Osteria IL Centro was one of more than 125 restaurants that participated in a community fundraising effort for JJ's on Saturday, February 23rd. Our sister restaurants at 51st and Main, Minsky's and eggtc. also helped to support the former plaza restaurant.
Osteria IL Centro is proud to announce that individually, our restaurant raised $1,288.10 for the employees of JJ's.
Combined with the efforts of our sister restaurants, a grand total of $4,154.10 was raised.
We would like to thank all of our patrons for dining with us to support our fellow restaurant. Our thoughts remain with the JJ's family, friends and associates during this difficult time.
