J. Rieger’s Rye Whiskey – OIC Private Stock
Our first exclusive a collaboration with local distillery J. Rieger is unique in that it’s the first rye made in house using J. Rieger’s own distillate. This limited-edition, Private Label Rye has been aged for 4 years in American oak at Rieger and then moved to a French oak cabernet cask for 16 months. This process adds structure to the whiskey by mellowing out the spiciness of the rye in addition to producing tannins giving it a creamy complex finish. ($75 Bottle)
Elijah Craig Bourbon Whiskey – OIC Private Label
Osteria IL Centro partnered with Georgetown, Kentucky’s Elijah Craig to create our own small batch private barrel of Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Since 1789, this legendary distiller (eponymously named after the founder, Elijah Craig, the “Father of Bourbon”) has crafted one a kind toasted barrel bourbons. This handcrafted, small batch bourbon created through a collaboration between OIC and Elijah Craig, resulted in smooth yet full-flavored bourbon – perfect for the connoisseur and the casual bourbon fan alike. With a warm, woodiness and accents of spice, smoke, and nutmeg, this bourbon is perfect to enjoy through the holidays with friends and family. ($40 Bottle)
GJ Reserve – Cabernet, Sonoma (2018)
The GJ Reserve, 2018 is something OIC is exceptionally proud to offer. Osteria IL Centro proprietors Gregg Johnson and Brent Wittrock have long been fans of the wines of 
Sonoma so it was no surprise they chose an Alexander Valley favorite, Trentadue Winery to produce their Private Label, Cabernet Sauvignon. GJ Reserve (named after OIC founder Gregg Johnson), has a dense ruby-purple color followed by abundant varietal aromas; it’s fresh and juicy with balanced acidity and very soft tannin.
“Creating our own wine is something we’ve envisioned for quite a while now. Seeing it come to fruition is a really proud moment for us – we think our customers will really enjoy it,” said Gregg Johnson. Drink now or age for 5-7 years – either way you’re sure be pleased with this exceptional bottle! ($45 Bottle)
